Public Procurement Law
If an authority or other body that is required to comply with procurement law wants to purchase, for example, a service or supply, it generally has to carry out a procurement procedure in which every interested party and supplier of the service can bid.
Whoever wins the contract and emerges as the winner of the tendering process can consider themselves fortunate. Because of the confidentiality obligations of the contracting authority, the selection process is not always transparent to those involved in the tendering procedure.
